First and foremost you are expected to follow the rules
of our host, Warp1.
This is a Harry Potter Role play, be creative with characters, but remember to
follow the rules about canon characters.
For original characters and in your general roleplay, the question you should be
asking yourself is: Would J.K. Rowling ever consider letting this into her book?
We don't ask that you get along with everyone. But
we do ask you at least show respect. Do not resort to
name-calling. or if you do.. take it to
PMs.
The staff has final say. Continued arguing, especially on denied character concepts, will result in bannings.
Magical items, abilities, any non human
character traits, magical familiars, special abilities, knowledge of any of the THREE CURSES, teacher characters, aurors and death eaters must be approved
by room staff. Please see this page for a complete list of things that need approval, and how to get it.

Keep in-character knowledge separate from out of character knowledge. Yes, we all know Sirius Black was innocent.
But the wizarding community thinks he is guilty. So shouldn't you?
Also, because there is such a demand for spots on the House Quidditch teams, we
have instituted a special policy for Quidditch Teams
, which you must read and follow if you wish to be a member of an official
House Team. Note you may form/play on an unoffical team without needing
to register.
A certain amount of player to player policing is not
only allowed, but encouraged. Please do not rag on someone because you don't
like their spelling. But players are encouraged if they see a
character who looks like they might not have been approved (example: Harry's
long lost sister) to POLITELY ask if they have gotten room approval.
NO DYING!! (Okay this is an overstatement.) Deaths on
campus, things which have a heavy impact on the entire student body, were
extremely rare in Harry Potter, and too many of them breaks the genre. As
such the death of any student, teacher, or other campus resident must be
approved in advance with the staff. (Suicides will not be approved.)
Violation of this rule will result in a temporary banning.
Pics should
be no bigger than 400 x 400.
Players are encouraged (but not required) to put their mun name and location in
their tag somewhere. It helps prevent a lot of confusion.
This room is rated 14+ by site ratings, and you may witness adult themed RPs.
Please use your brain about how much foul language is appropriate to the genre.
"Mild" curse words used rarely are okay,
the F word every post is not.
Please follow the guidelines on relationships which have been instituted to
help with the fact that most of the the players in the room are more mature
than the subject matter of the Harry Potter books, without breaking genre.
