How to begin roleplaying at Rising Phoenix:
Roleplay actually takes place in an html chat room. These chat rooms have things called "puppets" or handles which enable you to post not only text (your roleplay post) but also a picture and other text each time. (You'll get a feel for it quickly once you sign up.)
So, in addition to an account here at phoenixfeathers.net, where we keep track of all the characters and roleplay information (and where you will need to apply for any characters with unusual backgrounds or canon characters, you'll need an account at http://www.warp1.net/chat/portal.pl so you can access the chat room where we play.
Click here to sign up for an account at http://www.warp1.net/chat/portal.pl. Once you have an account, you can log into the chat portal here. You should see our room, Rising Phoenix, listed. Highlight it and click Enter. The chat site has lots of detailed information to help you configure your handles, but you don't need any of that fancy stuff to just stop in and chat with the Rising Phoenix players.
You don't need to sign up here at phoenixfeathers.net to visit the chatroom, so if you want to look around more, feel free to drop by Rising Phoenix and just have a look around.
