Classes

It is mandatory for teachers to create classes on the website that registered students can include in their schedules. This is important because it helps to maintain the academic feel of the setting. Being able to easily tell through the website who your classmates are also provides students jumping off points for interaction.

Non canon teachers can customize the format of their classes in terms of what Years may take a given section of a class. You may chose to segregate as in the books, with each Year in a different class, or teach combined classes. The latter is recommended (but not required) as it allows students of multiple years to interact in the same section for increased RP opportunity. Graduate and undergraduates may not take the same class. In any event you should aim to provide at least one class in your subject to students in years 3 and up, and at least one graduate class. Sections available to first and second years are optional. (Likewise in order to keep the list of classes available to a given Year reasonable, a maximum of 2 or 3 classes in your subject should be available to each Year, and you should have no more than 10 classes total.)

Enforcement of adherence to the website class roll during roleplay sessions is at the teacher's discrecion
